The ship and Visitor Centre are now open for 2018.
Medway Queen and Visitor Centre
OPEN EVERY SATURDAY
from 17th February to 1st December 2018
LOWER AFT SALOON DISPLAYS
The lower aft saloon has been fitted out as a display area and a "MEDWAY QUEEN BESIDE THE SEASIDE"
display will be mounted there from March 24th.
There is a possibility that restoration work will occasionally interrupt accessibility of this area.
These "events" are additional attractions put on in or around the society's workshops on Gillingham Pier. Admission to the yard and workshops is free to all - normal ship tour prices apply.
Saturday 4th August - Fun, Food & Craft
Saturday/Sunday 15th/16th September
Heritage Open Days weekend
As well as the fascinating selection always on view in the Visitor Centre there will be a chance to see artefacts and paintings of the ship that are not normally on view. We will be digging out items that have not seen light of day for a while and scouring the darker corners of the workshop for restored items from the ship and other items awaiting restoration.
Ship tours free of charge this weekend but donations gratefully accepted!
