The latest addition to the Medway Queen website has just gone live - The Pier Activity Centre. It contains quizzes and puzzles together with craft and writing challenges for "kids of all ages". It is aimed at our younger friends but there's no specific age limit and anyone can have a go.
To get things moving please encourage the family to try their hand at the colouring sheets or writing a short story about Medway Queen. If you can't get them hooked, have a go yourself - I won't tell anyone!
All you have to do is click on the link below and sponsor our recent (and continuing) digital drive to offset the negative effects that Coronavirus has had on our real-life situation. The page has got off to a fairly slow start although it is only one of a raft of measures we are taking and the overall response has been great. If you haven't supported the ship yet in this crisis please consider doing so now. Richard has spent many days working on the website etc. and we've achieved a lot, both in publicity, including the Regional Flagship award, and finance. To "win" the challenge we now need to raise as much as possible through this route. You can find more details of the Small Charities Challenge here: Further to previous posts we have now received the Flagship pennant from National Historic Ships. It is not possible to hoist this properly on Medway Queen at present but as soon as we can entertain visitors once more we'll organise something. In the meantime the pennant proudly "flies" on our website home page.
