Adventures of the Medway Queen

​Faye Beerling’s new book, “Adventures of the Medway Queen”, will be published in October 2022. Faye specialises in children’s books with a historical theme written in association with museums and collections.
 
In this new book, Jasmine, with her friend Peter and Peter’s Mum, visit Medway Queen at Gillingham Pier and take the tour of the ship. The children’s imaginations vividly bring the story to life. Their guide explains the ship’s story as they go round, and they have a surprise encounter with someone from that story who is not what he seems at first!​

The launch event will be at Gillingham Pier on Saturday October 8th, opening at 11am. It is planned that the author, Faye Beerling, will be on hand to sign books and chat to her readers. It will go on sale in person at the Medway Queen Visitor Centre (open from 11am to 4pm, last admissions 3pm) and via the MQPS website. the cover price will be £6.99 per book plus UK P&P at £2.​
