Slight Delay - Medway Queen beside the seaside

Our 2018 on-board display "Medway Queen Beside the Seaside" was due to be installed on Monday of this week to be available to visitors from Saturday 24th February. Regrettably, a problem has occurred at short notice, which we were unable to work around, so the display will now be installed next month to be ready for Saturday 24th March. This same problem has resulted in Reading Group's new railway wagons also being delayed and they too will be available from the Visitor Centre from 24th March. They are available now by mail order as planned.

The ship and Visitor Centre are not otherwise affected and will be open to visitors as usual on Saturdays. The delay is due solely to an individual health issue which prevented transportation to Gillingham Pier this week of both the display materials and the railway wagons.
